Paint Correction Services Intro.

Paint correction is our true specialty.  We have literally completed thousands of successful paint correction jobs over the last fifteen (15) years.

Paint correction is a detailing term that refers to restoring a vehicle’s paint by removing imperfections.

This is accomplished by using compound and/or polish by hand, or by buffer.

Compound is an aggressive correction liquid that can remove deep imperfections.  Polish is a less aggressive correction liquid that can remove minor imperfections.

The typical imperfections targeted by paint correction include: swirls, scratches, oxidation, hard water marks, sap damage, bird droppings damage, etc.

 There are two commonly used buffers 1) high speed rotary, 2) dual action orbital

There are a wide variety of buffing pads used ranging from very aggressive cutting to very soft finishing

Dual action buffers are typically considered to be safer, since it’s more difficult to damage the paint with a dual action buffer.

Buffer and pad technology has improved significantly.  These technology improvements enable dual action buffers to be as good as high speed buffers in delivering paint correction results.  Thus, we only use dual action buffers since they provide superior safety with highly effective correction abilities.
